clocks- clocks are used in this film as a symbol of race against time.
Lola and her boyfriend Manni are racing against the clock so Manni will not be killed over his bad ways.
They have twenty minutes to get 100,000 or Manni will get killed.
clocks are shown through out the film and are used well as a symbol

I think the variation of clocks used is quite intersting too - from a visual point of view. For example why does he use a glass clock inthe office, one that looks like it escaped from a horror movie at the start.....
