The novel Five people you meet in heaven seems like an interesting story with what looks like a good plot.
It keeps you guessing because of the whole fate thing and keeps the story interesting.
I have not got into the story that much and am only up too second chapter, will read more and see how it goes.

clocks- clocks are used in this film as a symbol of race against time.
Lola and her boyfriend Manni are racing against the clock so Manni will not be killed over his bad ways.
They have twenty minutes to get 100,000 or Manni will get killed.
clocks are shown through out the film and are used well as a symbol

I think we have choices and those choices we make put us were we are today.
It isnt so much fate that i belev in but our choices change things that happen in other peoples lifes as well so i guess there is fate in the world, but i dont belev we can change fate.

controlling fate or changing time is not true. you have choices and those choices mold your life, sure you could say what if i done that or done this but fact is the choices you make are the choices you have to live with for the rest of your life.
There are know run overs in life just the choices we chose to make and were they take us in life

I think the director used different narrative techniques to give a different effect in the film.
He has created a good style in the film it is different

Lola is tring to help Manni get 100,000 marks (dollars) so he want get killed. Lola is running to her fathers work, the bank to try get the money but is not successful and keeps replaying her day over and over.

The images that stand out are Lola`s bright red hair.
Homeless man who has a big beard.
nuns and the guy on the bike.

The fil is interesting! Bit hard to follow at times but keeps you wondering whats going to happen next.

I think you chose this film because it is to do with fate but you manly chose it to punish us.

Lola`s boyfriend Manni got into some trouble and needed Lola`s help to try and get 100,000 marks (dollars). Lola tried to help Manni and ended up getting into trouble her self with the police.

humour,
storyline that is easy to follow and has a good ending
